Purpose:

Our catering company is committed to sustainability, striving to balance high-quality service with environmental consciousness, particularly in situations where budget constraints are a factor.

 

Practices:

We prioritise sourcing local, organic, and sustainably farmed produce as much as budgets allow. Our focus is on minimising waste through careful planning and the use of compostable or reusable serviceware. We also incorporate the collection and reuse of deep fryer oils and use non-caustic, eco-friendly dishwashing detergents.

 

Goals:

To continuously improve our sustainability practices within budgetary constraints, measure and reduce our carbon footprint, and be a leader in eco-friendly catering solutions.

 

Environmental Policy Statement

Purpose:

To operate in a manner that is both environmentally responsible and efficient, minimising our impact on the planet.

 

Practices:

Implementing energy-efficient practices in our kitchens, reducing water usage, and managing waste effectively through recycling and composting. We adhere to New Zealand's regulations on single-use plastics, prioritising compostable or reusable alternatives to hard-to-recycle plastics. Our transportation initiatives include encouraging car-sharing among our team and utilising 7-seater vehicles in our fleet to reduce our transportation footprint.

 

Goals:

To annually reduce our environmental impact, engage with suppliers who follow eco-friendly practices, and educate our staff and clients about environmental stewardship.
